Ana Fernandez was born on May 19 1963 in Valencina de la Concepcion Seville Andalucia Spain. She most recently played Carlota in the Netflix TV series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American singer and actress is also a stand-up comedian. The most well-known of her roles was as a cast member on NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live between 1996 until 2002. She has since starred such as sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her career in Northwestern University. She initially was a voice student, but then switched to theatre studies after she was involved in the students' improv comedy groups. This passion has carried her through a number of roles supporting such as the overly-controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the eccentric Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. It's all been leading up towards American Auto, the NBC sitcom that finally gives Ana Gasteyer the starring role she's always wanted. Particularly notable was her stint as a regular actor in the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. In the years since, Gasteyer has appeared in sitcoms including ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as in the film Mean Girls.
